Pen Power is a new editing service helping non-native writers polish their English prose.
Perhaps you've translated your book or article into English but feel it's missing something. Maybe you're not sure if phrasing sounds odd or expressions seem peculiar. Are you hitting the nuances you intend to?
Claude might be good, but sometimes only a human editor can confirm that the writing lands with humans.
I'd love to help you with these challenges. I spent three decades in tech but am returning to writing, my first passion. During my tech career, I occasionally helped non-native speakers with their English articles, sometimes being the only native speaker on the team.
Today, I'm working on my first commissioned book-length project. I'll update this page when it's complete!
A note about AI: I love it. I feel it enables us to think faster and unlock whole new levels of our creativity. I don't, however, use AI in my editing. This part of the process—human reacting to writing—is important to be done by an actual human. So that's how I work. And yes, I wrote those em dashes myself! ;P
